Systems Engineer -Project Systems Engineering Advisor

Based on the Energy agreement, where the targets and intentions for the transition to a more renewable energy supply are set, the Roadmap Offshore wind energy 2030 and the ambition to realise additional windcapacity prior to 2030 a roll-out strategy is being prepared for the medium term, including the IJmuiden Ver (DC) projects. This results in a commitment for TenneT to realise at least 2x (with potential up to 5) 2GW HVDC Grid Connection Systems which bring the power from offshore wind-farms in the North sea to the Dutch electricity grid to be commissioned between 2028

• 2030 What will you do? TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Project Systems Engineering Advisor at our location in Arnhem who will contribute to this. As Project Systems Engineering Advisor you will be part of Tennet’s project team in applying SE processes on developing the 2GW offshore grid connection systems.

• As a Project Systems Engineering Advisor you support the Systems Engineering manager of the respective Portfolio / Cluster on the implementation of Systems Engineering on the relevant projects.
• You provide expert guidance on Systems Engineering processes and best practices to ensure adherence to established standards
• You participate in Contract Management with the document review process to ensure the quality and compliance of Systems Engineering deliverables
• You facilitate the Requirements Management and Change Management processes
• You initiate, test and validate improvements to the processes and tooling including Relatics developments
• You can facilitate Systems Engineering Training Sessions Profile
• You have a Bachelor or Master degree and an academic level of thinking and working;
• You have experience in applying Systems Engineering during design and execution phase. Offshore industry experience will be an advantage;
• You have strong knowledge of Systems Engineering standards like ISO 15288, INCOSE handbook and sector standards ;
• You are fluent in English. Dutch will be a strong advantage;
• You have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
