Job Description
1. General Context
The BUCH work organization works for the municipalities of Bergen, Uitgeest, Castricum and Heiloo. The domain Management Public Space (BOR) is responsible for the management, maintenance and design of public space within these municipalities.
For the execution of the projects development location Parck de Beeck and the redesign of outdoor space swimming pool De Beeck in the municipality of Bergen, the BUCH work organization is looking for a supervisor. He or she will supervise the execution of the new construction of the public space.
2. Purpose of the Assignment
The supervisor is responsible for the substantive and technical supervision of preparatory and executing work in public space. In doing so, he or she monitors compliance with contract agreements, quality requirements, safety and planning.
The supervisor identifies deviations, records findings and advises based on municipal frameworks and applicable regulations. The supervisor acts as the technical conscience in the field and reports directly to the project leader. In addition, he or she is the point of contact for contractors, residents, entrepreneurs and internal colleagues.
Tasks
1. Supervision and Execution
Representing the client within the agreed authority;
Daily supervision of the execution on the construction site;
Monitoring the execution planning and progress (time, quality and costs);
Evaluating work plans, including V&G plan, paving plan, well state and dewatering advice;
Identifying and monitoring cost developments;
Attending construction meetings (where the director is the chairman);
Technically and financially assessing specifications quantities and additional and less work, including advising the director;
Ordering work within granted powers;
Advising on term payments;
Maintaining daily and weekly reports and other work administration;
Inspecting, approving and measuring materials and structures;
Maintaining communication with residents, contractors and internal colleagues.
2. Delivery and Transfer
Performing and recording start and final inspections with contractor and municipal managers;
Assisting in commissioning and recording the minutes of delivery;
Taking and checking the work and associated guarantees;
Recording work within maintenance and warranty period;
Advising on final settlement and transfer to managers.
3. Maintenance and Warranty Period
Taking the work at the end of the maintenance period;
Supervising repair work in case of defects or malfunctions;
Collecting and transferring all necessary documents for transfer to managers.
